Spring Reflections

I love taking reflection and puddle photos. I was out for a walk in our local park and I couldn’t help taking a photo of the play structure. One in Colour and one in Black and White. Which one do you like best?

A Little Bird Watching

The weather was sunny and it wasn’t very windy. I saw an interesting this setup along the edge of the Ottawa River Pathway that we use for the Orleans parkrun. So the IMALAIRD Photography team grabbed the cameras and we headed out.

The interesting thing turned out to be a teepee like structure. No one seemed to be living in it, but the birds were very interested in us. Several even landed on us. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any bird seed with us, but we did manage to capture a few birds.

Para-Hockey Tournament in Montreal – Day 3

I photographed a friend who plays Sledge Hockey for the Team Atlantic Para Hockey. They played in a tournament in Montreal this past weekend. The team took Silver over all.

The following photos were taken on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 during the finals when Team Atlantic Para Hockey played a very good game against the Quebec Team in the morning. Quebec had White Uniforms.

We really enjoyed getting to know some of the players and fellow Team Atlantic Para Hockey supporters.

Para-Hockey Tournament in Montreal – Day 2

I photographed a friend who plays Sledge Hockey for the Team Atlantic Para Hockey. They played in a tournament in Montreal this past weekend. The team took Silver over all.

The following photos were taken on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 when Team Atlantic Para Hockey played a very good game against the Ontario Team in the morning. Ontario had green stripes on their uniforms.

In the Afternoon Team Atlantic Para Hockey played a very tough Quebec Team. Quebec had Blue Uniforms. Not as many photos taken as our friend got hurt mid way though the game and we looked after him for the rest of the game. Thankfully he is fine.

U11 Hockey Star

Our friends son was playing hockey at a rink nearby and we were invited to come and watch his game. I asked his Mom if I could take a few photos of him while he played and she said yes. Afterwards I sent them the pictures and they were so impressed that they have asked me to take Team Photos next year. Hmmmm. Do I do it? With their permission here are the photos that I took.

This was really good practice and I have been invited to take photos at a Provincial Sledge Hockey Team in the coming weeks and this session helped me figure out some settings. Stay tuned!
