Congratulations to Phil and Celine!!
I have been friends with Celine for years as coworkers and friends. She reached out to me earlier this year and asked me to be her photographer for her wedding. WOW! talk about trust. I did lots of research and with the help of my trusty assistant with a checklist in hand we attended the wedding with all my new knowledge in hand.
I noticed these blue light posts in the parking lot at our new Trim Road LRT Station. The blue lights really played with the colours of the trees and cars in the lot. I also did a bit long exposure work on Trim looking north to the Petrie Island apartment buildings.
I was asked to do some real-estate shots for a new Airbnb coming to the Eastern Ontario Area. The Owners and I have become good friends over the past year or so and they were excited to show off their hard work.

It was a summer-like end to September, so I took a walk along the Ottawa River and then caught the new LRT in Orleans doing some testing.
While watching the Airshow, there was a veritable parade of boats going up and down the Ottawa River providing endless entertainment.
The Gatineau Airshow put on a spectacular display. Each Team did a form up over Orleans and we found a great place to watch the show. Most photos taken with my Telephoto 70-300mm at 1/250 sec at F8, ISO800.
This is the last time the Snowbirds will be in Ottawa as they are retiring the Tutor Jets. The new turbo prop Sisken can be seen flyin in formation with the Team.
Clear skies over the Labour Day weekend, a visit to the Hasting Highlands and the peak of the Milky Way season, we just had to get out and take some photos.

The Imalaird Photography Team had to take a small break from the website this summer.
We will be busy taking photos over the next couple of weeks – Some highlights are – a bit of Astrophotography and the Gatineau Airshow.
Upcoming events – my first Real Estate shoot for a new AirBnB and my first Wedding shoot. Both of these projects are way out of our comfort zone, but we are excited about them all the same.

The good folks at the Orleans parkrun have made me their official volunteer photographer. I get credit for volunteering and I get credit for participating in the actual parkrun.
