While watching the Airshow, there was a veritable parade of boats going up and down the Ottawa River providing endless entertainment.

The Gatineau Airshow put on a spectacular display. Each Team did a form up over Orleans and we found a great place to watch the show. Most photos taken with my Telephoto 70-300mm at 1/250 sec at F8, ISO800.

This is the last time the Snowbirds will be in Ottawa as they are retiring the Tutor Jets. The new turbo prop Sisken can be seen flyin in formation with the Team.

Clear skies over the Labour Day weekend, a visit to the Hasting Highlands and the peak of the Milky Way season, we just had to get out and take some photos.

The Imalaird Photography Team had to take a small break from the website this summer.

We will be busy taking photos over the next couple of weeks – Some highlights are – a bit of Astrophotography and the Gatineau Airshow.

Upcoming events – my first Real Estate shoot for a new AirBnB and my first Wedding shoot. Both of these projects are way out of our comfort zone, but we are excited about them all the same.

I had the pleasure of photographing and documenting the Team Atlantic Para/Sled Hockey Team at the National Championships in Boucherville Quebec from May 7-10th, 2026.

The Team play really well together considering this was the first time all year the entire roster had been able to play together at the same time.

The photos below are from the moments after they clinched 3rd place (Bronze) in the country. Well done Team Atlantic, it was really fun to be apart of your journey.

The photos below are from Game 7 for the Bronze Medal that took place at 10:30am on Sunday, May 10th against the Team Manitoba. Did they Win? See my next post
