Terry Fox Confederation Bridge Walk – September 21, 2025

As our family has been touched by cancer, when the opportunity to raise funds for cancer research and to do it in such a unique way by walking the length of the Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick to PEI, I just had to go.

The Bridge is 14kms long and this would be my longest walk in about 5 years. I had been slowly building up to the distance over the entire summer and I was confident I could do it.

As a team of 7 people we raised over $1800 and were in the top 10% of fundraising teams. The entire walk raised over $830,000.

This walk is usually only done every 5 years, but due to Covid, it hadn’t been held since 2015. Over 10,000 people participated. This was the largest crowd I have been in since I got sick. It was so nice to be outside in the fresh air with so many people.

Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge parkrun – Fredericton, NB, September 20, 2025

As we were heading to PEI to participate in the Terry Fox Confederation Bridge walk to help raise money for Cancer, we stopped in Fredericton, New Brunswick and I participated in the Bill Thorpe parkrun. Afterwards, we drove over to Charlottetown PEI to get ready for the 14km Confederation Bridge walk the next day.

Family Photoshoot – August 24, 2025

I was approached to do a family photoshoot earlier this year. I have never done one before and I was quite nervous about doing it.

The IMALAIRD Photography team went out to try out some tests shots with ourselves as models. They turned out pretty good and so my confidence was bolstered enough to give the session a go.

Here are some of the results

The Site is not Dead

Hello followers,

Just wanted to give you all a little update on why the site has been so quiet in recent months.

The Imalaird Photography team has been busy preparing for our youngest daughters wedding that was held on August 8th. The wedding, Bride and Groom and the Venue were all amazing. But, as you can imagine, there has been little time for the website.

That being said, there are lots of photo’s in the pipe and we will be able to start posting again soon.

Thanks for your continued support – keep checking back as we will have new content up soon.
